Designed a high availability package that automatically fails over a complete network to / or from New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL. This stevedoring company has operations in shipping ports worldwide and is able to guarantee 100% network services uptime to all divisions worldwide for business continuity. The package includes Microsoft Exchange 2003 collaboration services, Citrix farm terminal services, Citrix Active Directory printer services, print server services, DNS SOA services, Espion Interceptor spam prevention services, file sharing services, and Global Positioning System ship tracking services.
Designed custom script to allow BE&K to synchronize their Exchange 5.5 Global Address List with a subsidiary Northstar Communications' new Exchange 2003 Global Address List. Their administrative forests did not have an external trust setup due to political issues, a custom solution was therefore necessary. This package required importation and exportation of the Global Address List from the Exchange 5.5 directory service as well as importation and exportation of Exchange 2003's Active Directory objects.
Designed backup and restoration scripts for Healthsouth, the worlds largest healthcare provider. These scripts were used to prep workstations for upgrading as well as restore their user environment after the upgrade was complete. This package was distributed to multiple consulting firms to use whiling traveling nationwide upgrading remote sites in all 50 states.
Designed remote management platform for Healthsouth's helpdesk division to facilitate enhanced user support. This application allowed users to connect to any workstation nationwide and assist users via a graphical user interface.
Designed script for Healthsouth to assist with rapid deployment of thousands of Lantronix print servers to facilities nationwide. Designed script to deploy an AS400 front-end application and configuration to all workstations throughout their enterprise.
Designed PXE server and BOOTP image for Healthsouth to deploy Symantec Ghost images to workstations at remote sites nationwide. The 1.44mb image included networked DOS drivers as well as dynamic PC name and IP address generation from a single PXE image. The PXE image would automatically query for the Ghost server and begin installing the specified images.
Designed custom Active Directory Services Interface (ADSI) scripts for AmSouth Bank NOC. These scripts assist AmSouth with migrating their legacy NT4 domain structure as a subdomain into a root Active Directory security domain. These scripts changed user object's UPN suffix to represent this new domain structure. The Active Directory Migration Wizard does not provide this functionality. This package also allowed AmSouth to migrate user object's Canonical Naming from their employee ID numbers to each employee's "Lastname (Surname), Firstname (GivenName)" as requested by their security team.
